Employment Pass & Visa
Foreigners who intend to work in Singapore for the purposes of employment, setting up new business, undergoing training or short term professional assignments which require longer stay are required to obtain a valid work pass from the Ministry of Manpower ("MOM") in order to start work in Singapore.
Employers who hire foreigners without valid work passes can be prosecuted under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.
